What is your service area?
Our primary service area is Southeast Michigan. However, we offer state-wide out-of-state transportation upon request. Call us to inquire today at 248-264-7020.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Master Card, Visa & Discover. We will also accept auto accident and workmanโs compensation claims with advanced notice and verification. Question? Please call 248-264-7020.
Do you accept insurance or Medicaid/Medicare?
We are not able to bill Medicaid or Medicare insurance.ย We also do not bill private health insurance.ย However, we will work with your Workmanโs Compensation & Auto Accident insurance companies. They must provide us with a letter approving our rates and the transports. We also accept cash, checks, or credit cards for your convenience. Need more information? Please call 248-264-7020.
Is Reliable Medical Transportation, LLC licensed and insured?
Yes, Reliable Medical Transportation is licensed with the State of Michigan.
How much notice do I need to give for transportation?
We ask that you give us 48 hours notice. However, same-day service is available if a 4-hour minimum notice is provided. We can also schedule your transport weeks or months in advance.
Can I ride along with the patient?
Of course! You can ride along at no additional charge. We encourage a family member or aide to ride with patients to give them a sense of security. We will need advanced notice if more than one rider will need to travel with the client. Call 248-264-7020 to request a ride today!
My house has stairs. Will you still be able to transport me?
If your residence has stairs please call our office at 248-264-7020 so we can assess the home’s entry requirements. Our trained staff will advise you of our ability to handle your particular situation. Additional charges may apply.
Do I need to wait at the curb for you to pick me up?
No! Our driver will come into your residence, nursing home or hospital and assist you to our vehicle. We will then escort you or your loved one into their appointment and make sure they are checked in at the destination. A return trip will be scheduled for you so that you will not have an extended wait time for your return trip.
I need oxygen for my transport. Can you provide oxygen for the trip?
We do not supply or regulate oxygen. If your chair has a holder for oxygen and you or your facility will be providing the tank, yes, we will transport you.
Do I need to be in a wheelchair to use your service?
No. We help people with all levels of mobility. If you have a senior that just needs a ride to an appointment and family is not available, we can help that person.
